North Carolina is one of the few states that you will start by studying first and must get a Certificate of Completion.
To be eligible for a Certificate of Completion/Admission Ticket you must follow several steps:
Completion of the course including final STUDY exam.
Satisfying the time requirement (20 hours per line of authority)
Download and Print the admission ticket/certificate through the “Transcript” tile on the user dashboard.
Admissions Tickets/Certificates are valid for 90 days.
Required at the testing center
you must acquire your life insurance license In order to work with FFL.
NOTE: We (Victory Lap Admin) will pay for the pre-licensing courses (up to $210) AFTER you send a screenshot/email of your test registration. Let’s knock this out!

Choose the Life & Health you will have to take the test separately.
When it asks “What is the four (4) digit number of the school you attended for Pre-Licensing Education?”
ANSWER: 1372 XCEL Solutions
When it asks: Are you pre-approved for testing accommodations for the test you wish to schedule?
MARK: Mark it “NO”
Limitation on repeat examination:
If you do not pass the examination within ninety (90) days of the date of course completion, or within five (5) examination attempts over the ninety (90) day period, you complete a pre-licensing education course at an approved school to be eligible to retake the examination.
As long as you are not within the 48-hour window right before the test you can reschedule to give yourself more time or if you want to take the test earlier.
Once you turn everything in and complete wait 2 business days and call the state Department of Insurance and confirm they have everything.
The average time to receive your license is 5-15 Business Days.

We strongly recommend booking your exam IN PERSON (although you can take it virtually). We find agents running into multiple problems when taking it virtually.
